A 2 -day love

A 2 day love

Hi, I am Dr. Kumar. I am working in a reputed hospital in Bangalore. We are all on the panic button as the country is in the grip of COVID-19. We do not have to think about our hunger, nor about our pain. Our whole body is suffering, and we are losing weight, even though we are working tirelessly.

One day in that pandemic. I saw a beautiful girl lying on the hospital bed. He is suffering from tightness in his chest. Even in so much pain, she is helping the beds near her. My head doesn't allow me to meet him, but my heart shuts my ass and forces my foot to meet him.

I forcefully go and meet him. I introduce myself as a doctor and ask her why she is doing this. Then he simply replied that we are in a pandemic, and everyone needs to do a little bit to ease the burden on us. I saw many people who want to stab us because we could not save their relatives.

We are helpless, and we have to listen to them. We have no choice. God is in a mood to test our patience. But I politely told him that you take a rest. I saw on his health sheet that his name is Nidhi.

I had to leave at that time because more patients were coming and we had to see them.

It was not known how the night passed from day today. But not knowing that his words had touched the corner of my heart. Her beautiful eyes, her innocent face, her inspiring words were running through my mind. I could not sleep in one night. Then I started walking to the hospital for inspection. I saw that she was awake in the night. And she was listening to the song from her pod. I walked over to him and started talking to him. In the conversation she told me that she was an orphan and grew up in the orphanage in Bangalore itself. When she grew up, she used to work as a manager in an old age ashram.

Don't know how we slept there while talking. This cycle went on for two more nights. In which I told her, many things of my own and she also told many of her things. On the third night when we started talking, suddenly his chest started getting very congestive; his oxygen level suddenly started falling. She couldn't breathe. It was a panic mode for the hospital. That makes reason to prepare Operation Theatre immediately. And she had to be taken to OT, but before leaving, she just said that in these two nights I have come to know that you are a good person and also a good doctor and yes you like me too. Promise me for the sake of for two days' love. You will take care of my old age ashram and do not stop at any moment because this fight is very big. And we can't even sit still. Nidhi took her last breath on the operation table. And I am keeping that promise even today
