I am a mortal,

I am weak,

I know all these facts,

But in the end, I want to succeed.


I know I can loose,

I know I can be brutally crushed,

I know I can be overthrown,

Still, I want to face all the punch.


I can't be happy all day,

I need to be uncertain,

I am just a mortal,

Still, in the end, I want to fight back.


I know I am vulnerable,

I know that I can be relinquished,

I know I am just a mortal,

Still, in the end, I want to live.
